Hazel Gap Barn Wedding photography

I’ve been looking forward to sharing s Hazel Gap barn wedding for a while now!

So without further ado let’s get this amazing wedding story underway. I’m taking you back to the 3rd of November 2017.

I arrived early in the morning at Laura’s Mum and Dad’s house which is just outside of Bawtry in a small village called Wiseton. I always like to introduce myself to people that I’ve not met before and just have a little natter with everyone before bringing out the cameras I feel like this puts people more at ease more, rather than me bursting into the house all cameras clicking.

With hair and makeup in full swing, expertly styled and applied by Laura-Emily-John’s and the champagne flowing the excitement levels were starting to rise as the bridal preparations were starting to gather momentum.  Kay from Flowers by Kay arrived with her amazing wedding bouquets, perfectly complementing the time of year, winter wedding flowers at their best!

It was soon time for me to make the 25-minute car journey over to Hazel Gap Barn…..

I arrived to find Andrew and his friends greeting guests as they arrived at this impressive rustic/contemporary wedding venue. From this point the whole day just flowed effortlessly from Laura’s emotional walk up the aisle with her proud Dad Paul, right the way through to the brilliant sparkler exit later on that evening ,which by the way was no mean feat trying to simultaneously  organise 25 wedding guests to light their sparklers at the same time. With the brilliant live band Vibe town banging out Soul & Motown classics the party was in full swing and just in case you were feeling a little peckish after knocking out your shapes on the dance floor, freshly cooked stone baked pizza was brought round for everyone! Yum Yum! …

Andrew & Laura’s Hazel Gap Barn wedding was magnificent in every way: the people, the food, the staff, even the November weather came good for this wonderful day!  All in all an amazing day spent with lovely people having the time of their lives, thanks for letting me be a part of it!
