I promised myself this year I was going to start to blog more about the amazing weddings I get to experience and photograph, so to kick off this new found enthusiasm for blogging weddings I thought I would start with this Ringwood Hall smasher from the end of September last year.
Let me introduce Max & Becki and their super stylish fun wedding held at the magnificent Ringwood Hall in Derbyshire.
The whole day was perfect from beginning to end, laughter was in abundance, tears flowed during the outdoor ceremony, family and friends embraced each other all day. The atmosphere and overall feeling of this wedding was one of love and kindness and genuine joy. The day certainly wasn’t without a bit of drama. During portrait time with Max & Becki the heavens opened up! Within seconds, I was rapidly getting very wet! Cue… two of the most helpful wedding guests on the planet, who came running towards me with two big golfing umbrellas “thought you might need these” Thanks, guys…just in time!
Becki looked absolutely stunning in her one off designer wedding dress, which was supplied by the fabulous Jaynes of Doncaster bridal wear, while Max was rocking a bespoke, handmade tailored suit from the very experienced House of Churchill, Doncaster. Bridal hair was super styled by Jason of Burlington’s Hair Salon in Chesterfield and the bridal bouquet was lovingly created by Jessie of J’J Flowers Chesterfield. Great job guys!
As wedding days do, the day quickly turned into the evening celebrations, uncles, aunties, great grandmas all headed over to the dance floor to get down and funky with the irrepressible Soul Outlaws live band. I always love this part of the day, everyone’s happy doing their own thing on the dance floor throwing out cool and crazy shapes. A quick outfit change and Max & Becki were ready for their choreographed first dance together…which they absolutely nailed.
