[av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=”] Ok, so I promised myself this year I would make more of a conscious effort to keep up to date with  my wedding photography blog, so let’s get things rolling with my first wedding of 2016… The day started early at 9.00 am at Gill’s local hairdresser, Chic. Hair styled and ready to go, it was then a short walk to Gill’s Dad’s house for the rest of the bridal preparations. Luckily Jack & Gillians house was a stone’s throw away from the salon, so it gave me enough time to pop in and get some photos of the boys getting ready. The ceremony was held at the Sacred Heart, Catholic Church in Edlington. The service lasted for about an hour, which gave me plenty of time to capture the tears and laughter and the essence of this deeply moving ceremony. With a vintage VW camper van waiting outside the church to whisk the happy couple of to their next destination, the stately Wentbridge House Hotel. Greeted with a hot alcoholic punch from the fabulous staff at the Wentbridge Hotel on arrival, the wedding party barely noticed the cold February chill, with the group and formal shots done quickly and efficiently it was then on to Jack & Gillian’s portrait time. Day quickly turned to night, with the evening’s guests filtering in, it was time for the newlyweds to hit the dance floor and knock out a few shapes…. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Boston [/av_textblock]
