Peak District-Pre wedding Photography

John & Emma’s Peak District pre-wedding shoot

Peak district pre-wedding shoots are ace, you just don’t know what you’re going to get weather-wise, high winds, freezing temperatures, rain, and even snow have all been present for me at some point or other when I‘ve been making photos with couples in the Peaks.

John & Emma are just a beautiful melting pot of creativity, Emma runs her own French antique business as well as recently starting up her own contemporary floristry business too, so if you’re looking for unique wedding floristry with soul and elegance this is the lady you need to speak to. John, on the other hand, is an incredibly talented tattoo artist, if you appreciate the skill and artistry that goes into a tattoo’s check out John’s work here it’s breathtaking!…

So, back in March this year we arranged to meet up at the Fox Inn pub on the edge of the Peak District, after a coffee and a natter about life, in general, we headed off into the Peaks.

John & Emma had mentioned to me beforehand that they were not a selfie kind of couple and didn’t really like their photo being taken. I would say most of the couples I photograph feel this way, so a pre-wedding shoot is a great fun way to erode away any preconception’s of what’s its actually like being photographed, but most importantly it’s all about making the couple feel relaxed and happy.

Two hours later we were all done. Emma & John were super happy with how it all went the challenge is now picking out a photo for their signing frame which will be proudly displayed at their wedding venue, the Old Deanery at Skipton, North Yorkshire at the end of April 2019.
