About me

An Established Yorkshire Wedding Photographer
I’m Mark, a Yorkshire-based wedding photographer specializing in refined, documentary-led storytelling.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as childhood curiosity quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit of observing people, emotion and atmosphere through a lens.
Over the past 14 years, I have had the privilege of documenting more than 400 weddings across Yorkshire, throughout the UK and internationally. During that time, I have developed a calm, assured approach, one that allows couples to feel entirely at ease while their celebration unfolds naturally around them.
My work is grounded in authenticity. I am drawn to honest, unguarded moments, the quiet exchanges, the subtle gestures, the laughter that arrives without warning. It is these moments, often fleeting and unscripted, that hold the greatest meaning.
Away from weddings, I am a father of three daughters. Becoming a parent deepened my understanding of how quickly moments pass and how powerful photography can be in preserving them. That awareness informs every wedding I document, a commitment to capturing not just how your day looked, but how it truly felt.
I approach each celebration with discretion, respect and a genuine appreciation for the trust placed in me.
Over 400 Weddings and still going!
Today, having documented over 400 weddings, my work takes me throughout Yorkshire, across the UK and internationally, entrusted with capturing candid, meaningful moments between couples and the people who matter most to them.
Each celebration is different, yet the intention remains the same: to observe quietly and preserve the atmosphere, connection and emotion that define the day.
Outside of weddings, I devote time to street photography, a discipline that has profoundly shaped my documentary approach. The instinct to anticipate moments, to recognise subtle human interaction, and to compose thoughtfully within ever-changing environments has refined the way I work at weddings.
This personal work continues to influence my creative eye and strengthens the authenticity within my wedding photography.
